Umbra Cornuta It's like revisiting great albums from bands like Neurosis, Gojira, Isis or the unmistakably Melvins. But Everest Queen have marked their sludgy texture that stands out on its own. The powerful combo riffs-vocals could crush mountains, the songwriting is solid and unfailing. Heavy first full-length!
Thankful for this, Fallenin! ⚔️ Favorite track: Neptune's Gates.

The demons whisper, constrict judgement. A rotting shadow ensnares darkness. Screams of mercy. Bleeding hollows. The stench of redemption bestows perdition. Burn them. Spreading the disease. Fodder for my blade. Endless victims fall. Bloodline, gifted hel. What we have done? Let the carnage reign. Heads for my trophies. Limbs for my bloodlust. Sunken citadel. Knee deep in the dead, corpses eclipse the sun. Rivers now run red, heaven undone. Hades deeds complete, carrion will swarm the land. Flesh and bones their fest, fed by Death’s hands. War. It consumes me. Lights will blind me. The death and beauty, the lies. Will consume me. Lights will blind me. The death and beauty, the lies. Brings me closer to war.

Crooked Husk 05:54
We watch as the sun corrodes you and fall to the angels bleeding. The demonised glow corrupts you. The ocean will take you back down. Look up to the crows that swarm you. Gouge out the eyes of the weeping. Peel back the flesh, unveil the truth. And bury the hands that freed us. All eyes on the crooked step. Shut down. Realign. The eyes of crooked husk.

Rise like sun over sea and sky. Oceans cleanse, heal these wounds of time. I’m bound to her forever more. Born to breathe the sea, his serenity. Memories of home. Morph through waves of time. Devour the sun. Return to the tide. Distorted waves will never break me. The ocean calls the currents to take me. This warning I’d never heed. It’s time to descend. Why must sands of time be so cruel? I will fade deep into the void. My rage has now subsided, I must accept his fate. Alas this burning light will guide him to the end. Down into the sea, where the unknown awaits. The angels shall bring him to old Neptune’s Gates. They shall bring him.

Deep within the groves of death, placed beneath giant talons of stone. That which only fire can cleanse, must be burned to give the tyrant his throne. Bow before a nocturnal god, druids await the ferryman’s hand. Symbolic murder of innocence. Touch their world blind eyes with death. Demons, rising, burning, within shadows unknown to man. Screaming voices, cowering. Staring, vacant souls. Flesh. Vessel. Sacrifice. Moloch’s flames, scorch the skies.
7.
Upon the bleak and misty shores, hollow unknown to all, I remain. Dragging, shrouded memories. A forgotten world. Through marshes black and withered skies, We the dead are all that’s left. Devoured in the voids of time, Aeons pass before my eyes, forever scorned. Tortured existence, exiled to this world, A tundra of ash. I long for release from this chamber of death. We the dead are all that’s left. An endless labyrinth of eternal silence. Distorted faces lie beneath the surface. A flicker of hope, consumed by judgement. Our eyes of stone, forever entombed. Life from the grave, dwells into night. Blood from the stone, rains from the skies. Buried beneath, bound by the earth. Dragged down below, I claw at the dirt. I am torn from the light and warmth of the sun. Seeking a path, led to the flame. Awaiting the end, mercy I pray. Deprived from decay, bled from within. My soul and my mind, stricken from me. Arise, repent, I long for the end.

Dead Eden 07:13
Skin crept cold, like the dead in the night. Swallowed whole, by the chasms black. Shadows swarm, the weeping lands. Eternal rest, as they witness the void. Walking through the dying fields of eden. To transcend to the consuming light. The withering earth is left to rot. Souls released, for they drift through the ether. Dying eden. Darkness fading. End of all life.
